Robert is a founding member of the firm and responsible for the day-to-day management of the New York office. He has spent his career of over thirty years exclusively in the insurance defense field, earning him a strong reputation for practical and innovative approaches to complex litigation. Robert focuses his practice primarily on the areas of New York State Labor Law, construction defect, product liability, and premises liability matters, as well as complex coverage issues.
Robert earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 1981 and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1984. He was admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey in 1985, in addition to many U.S. District Courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal. He frequently lectures on the importance of the relationship between counsel and claims, and is an avid Syracuse Orange fan, traveler, and golfer.
